Monitoring corsican dams using Wireless Sensor Network . Using WSN technologies for decision support

This paper deals with the management of water resources which is a strategic issue in Mediterranean area. In Corsica Island, the dams play an important role in water distribution and energetic production. It is difficult to find a solution to manage efficiencly the dams. The Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN) appear like a nice solution for decision support. Our work is to provide a solution to allow a better management of water ressources : - using wireless technology for remote monitoring - using accurate sensors to collect data in real time to improve water quality or energy production and to collect data for simulation scenarii
