Abstract : This book considers the teachers documentation work, with a special focus on those who teach mathematics. These teachers interact with many resources ; they meet, look for, design resources ; they modify resources, implement them, share them... On the one hand, these interactions depend on the teachers knowledge ; on the other, they entail evolutions of this knowledge. The use of digital resources strongly influences these processes. The book is organised in four parts. 1) The first part attempts to outline, from a practical, methodological and theoretical point of view, what are resources for the mathematics teacher. It examines thus what is, or is not, available for the teacher's professional activity. It introduces the question, which will continue in the course of the book, of the changes brought by digital resources. The conceptualisations proposed make precise the view on teachers' professional development that results from a focus on their interactions with resources. 2) The second part is interested in the interweaving of the individual and collective aspects of teachers' documentation. Teachers are in contact with multiple groups and communities; while this dimension is considered across the whole book, here it is a more particular focus of investigation. Concepts are introduced, which illuminate the nature of the groups and communities to be taken into account, the specificities of the processes of documentation within collectives, and individual-collective relationships. 3)The third part deepens the study of the relationships between institutional texts, more generally the curriculum, and the design of resources for and by teachers. It examines the characteristics of curriculum material, and the evolutions of these characteristics, from Antiquity until the most recent evolutions induced by digital resources. It raises questions of integration, appropriation, and transformation by teachers of resources intended for their use, such as the consequences of the use of resources in terms of professional practice.
