Ontologia dei "Sepolcri"

Abstract : The article explores, from a both philosopical and philological point of view, some major European sources of Foscolo's masterpiece "Dei Sepolcri": Haller's "Die Ewigkeit", Blair's "The Grave", Gray's "Elegy", Hervey's "Meditations among the tombs", Delille's "Jardins". It also reconstructs Foscolo's implementation in the poem of his interpretation of reality as "duality of being" and "dissonant harmony"
