A Framework for Service Provision in Intermittently Connected Mobile Ad hoc Networks

Abstract : Mobile ad hoc networks have been recently receiving much attention due to the important prospects they offer in service terms. Indeed, beyond the application services envisioned so far in emergency and military scenarios, civilian mobile ad hoc services usable in everyday life are considered from now. Service provision is a critical issue to the success of this new computing paradigm. In this paper, we present a novel approach for service provision in intermittently connected mobile ad hoc networks, as well as a framework implementing this approach.
