MANAGEMENT OF A PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SERVICE: CARSHARING SERVICE

Car-sharing service is one interesting ecological alternative for urban transport witch can potentially reduce the traffic congestion and improve air quality. The difficulty to manage it comes from the characteristics of this service. Our work is focused on the development of a methodology to aid decision makers to ensure the balance between the stations. This work defines performance indicators and proposes an optimization based on the modelling of preferences of potential customers. Fuzzy approach is used in order to anticipate customers' needs. The grid GRAI is used to compare performances of the management system after optimization of performance indicators.
