Implications of Solar Wind Charge-Exchange 14 keV emission on the Local Bubble hot gas in the galactic disk

Résumé

We present calculations of the heliospheric solar wind charge exchange (SWCX) emission spectra below 0.3 keV that we compare with the soft X-ray diffuse background (SXRB) emission detected in front of identified shadowing regions during the ROSAT All-Sky Survey. We discuss combinations of SWCX spectra and thermal emission in an attempt to match the observed X-ray fluxes and band ratios, while simultaneously being compatible with FUSE O VI emission measurements
