Vector sensor array processing for seismic data

Résumé

We present a model for signals recorded on arrays of vector-sensors acquiring seismic vibrations in different directions of the 3D space. Such acquisition schemes allow the recording of the polarization of waves and the proposed filters ensure the effective use of polarization information in the processing. This leads to a substantial increase in the performances of the wavefield separation algorithms.
