An Energy Approach to Optimal Selection of Controllers and Sensors in Power Systems

Résumé

This paper deals with the optimal location of controllers and sensors for the goal of improving stability in order to prevent black-out occurrence in large-scale power systems. The here-proposed approach is based the use of controllability and observability gramians. Some simulation results are provided on the basis of a realistic power system.
