A multiscale computational method with time and space homogenization

Abstract : A new multiscale computational strategy is proposed for the analysis of structures which are described at a refined level both in space and in time (for example, composite structures). For certain problems of interest, this new strategy can replace standard homogenization techniques (often coupled with local re-analysis) that are generally limited to the space domain. The aim herein is the description of the basis of the proposed approach.
