A SiGe Power Amplifier Dedicated to Power Management for 802.11n / 802.16e Standards
Résumé
The work presented here describes an approach of managing the trade-off linearity/efficiency in a radiofrequency power amplifier (PA) dedicated to the standards WiFi (802.11n) and WiMAX (802.16e). Although working at different power/distance ranges, both standards share some common bands, and the current interest consists in developing a unique platform operating as a continuum between WiFi or WiMAX and adaptively addressing one or the other as a function of the environment (and maybe replacing multi-path fading sensitive standards like WCDMA)
