Water lines around red supergiants revisited: effects of collisions

We present the computation of new rate coefficients for the rotational and vibrational (de)excitation of H2O by H2. From these rates, new H2 critical density are estimated and masering conditions are discussed in the case of water sub-millimetre lines around red supergiants.
