Quantitative analysis of cotton-viscose textile products from 12-points near infrared spectra

Résumé

This article discusses quantitative analysis of cotton-viscose textile products, an application which is of particular interest since cotton-based binary blends account for the majority of all textile fibre production and focus on the interest of variable selection to reduce the complexity of the calibration model and, as a consequence, improve its ease of interpretation, robustness and prediction ability.
