VALUE CHAIN APPROACH TO SEMANTIC PROCESS OF KNOWLEDGE CREATION: A PERSPECTIVE FROM DATA TO CAPABILITY

Résumé

As economies move into the knowledge age, knowledge assets become important resources for organizations and they need to adopt appropriate approaches to deal with this transition. Process based approach has a systematic view to functionality and transformation of each entity leading to added value. The problematic issue is how organization generates value through transformation process of data, information and knowledge. Our purpose is to develop a framework for value creation of knowledge from reality observation to capability that leads to competitive advantage. To do that, the paper develops a systematic approach and links it with some organizational aspects.
