PLL with Non Integer Order Loop Filter.

Abstract : This paper presents a synthesis of a non-integer order loop filter in a PLL-based frequency synthesizer. Using this kind of filter allows to obtain larger headroom in the tradeoff between phase margin and high frequency filtering in an integer frequency synthesizer. The recursive non-integer order building method is demonstrated for a ½ order integrator.
