HLA Supported, Federation Oriented Enterprise Interoperability
Résumé
This paper deals with future trends given in the final results of the INTEROP Network of Excellence (Chen et al., 2007) that deal with the way to support federation oriented enterprise interoperability. It gives a review of on going researches in the field of using HLA to support enterprise interoperability development. The HLA standard, initially designed for military M&S purpose, can be used at the level of enterprise interoperability implementation, it possesses years of experiences in distributed simulation synchronisation algorithm that can be used for the enterprise data exchange. We finish by giving a position on the investigation for this field by proposing three main directions for the future and proposing to rationalise the development cycle of enterprise models by specialising the HLA FEDEP.
