Asymptotic analysis of some non-linear soft thin layers

Abstract : This paper shows how to model thin layers and interfaces by asymptotic techniques. Some behaviors are treated: visco-elasticity (Maxwell, Kelvin–Voigt, Norton), Mohr–Coulomb non-associated elasto-plasticity and non-monotone relationship in the strain–stress diagram. Results are given concerning two kinds of stratified thin layers. Numerical validations and algorithms are proposed and presented.
