Installation of the sensor in the well of the seismological station BIMF of RLBP in Bangor (Morbihan)

Description : The station BIMF is located in the territory of the commune of Bangor in Belle-Île-en-Mer (Morbihan) on a parcel of land belonging to the communauté de communes de Belle-Île. The T120-PH is being lowered into the 10m deep borehole. This seismological station, operated by Osuna (Observatoire des Sciences de l'Univers de Nantes), is integrated into the Permanent Broadband Network (RLBP) of the national research infrastructure Résif, dedicated to the observation and understanding of the internal Earth structure and dynamics. Résif is based on observation networks of high technological level, composed of seismological, geodetic and gravimetric instruments deployed in a dense manner throughout the French territory. The data collected allow to study with a high spatio-temporal resolution the ground deformation, the superficial and deep structures, the seismicity at the local and global scale and the natural hazards, especially seismic, on the French territory. Résif integrates with European (EPOS - European Plate Observing System) and worldwide instruments that allow to image the interior of the Earth as a whole and to study many natural phenomena.
