Abstract

Model-based system engineering is nowadays more and more considered as essential to help defining complex systems. Thus it is part of the recommended approaches for implementing system engineering processes. Model-based safety assessment is also today a way more and more considered in order to improve the safety analyses of complex system. In this paper we propose an approach that combines both trends and we describe a tool named Safety Architect© that supports the proposed approach.
