Evaluation of Social Networking Sites: An Integrative Model

In the context of changing media landscape over the past few years through Information communication technologies (ICTs), social networking sites (SNSs) have become primary communication media for a new generation of digitally aware users. Furthermore, these sites have recently become the focus of considerable interest and attention, and held an important position not only as a platform for social relations but also as powerful tools for disseminating information and mobilizing citizens around the world. Consequently, the increasing dependence on technology for basic communication at an unprecedented form also highlights the importance of conducting In-Depth evaluation for social networking sites not only to attract Internet users, enhanced their attitudes, but also to ultimately improves its services. In this perspective, this research presents an integrated model to evaluate social networking sites through employs three conceptual approaches , where are socio-technical, communicational, and commercial, which can be applied systematically in order to understanding factors affect users' intention to continue use its services as a new communication platform.
