Based on real test data, an analysis of some existing injury criteria is made. The objective is to evaluate if these criteria, currently used in car crash studies or classical wound ballistic, may be used in the prediction of injuries caused by blunt projectile impact. These projectile do not penetrate the body and possess a low mass and a maximum velocity of 100 m/s.
