| Simulated SPOT data were obtained on august 2 1981 over the Fromentine test site. Digital and visual analysis was performed on the multiband and panchromatic data. The data were used to identify sedimentary and geomorphological structure in the intertidal zone. Sequences of simulated data taken between low tide and half tide conditions provided information on sediment distribution. In situ reflectance measurements in the intertidal zone and surrounding dunes were compared with the simulated data. |
