| This note concerns Thurston's bilinear product associated to a train track on a surface, which is at the basis of Thurston's symplectic bilinear form on measured foliation space. We give an alternative definition of Thurston's product as a product of measures, and in the case of oriented train tracks, we give an interpretation of this product in terms of the cohomology classes associated to weighted oriented train tracks. |
