Diaphragmatic hernia that occurs in about 1 in 5,000 live births, aredefined as congenital or acquired defect. If the opening in the diaphragm is small, the hole can besewn closed. If the opening is large, the surgeon will require additional tissue or material to close it.Often, a synthetic biocompatible material is used to patch the opening. Gore-Tex® (PTFE) prostheticmembrane is chosen for that purpose in University Hospital in Strasbourg/France %G English %2 https://hal.science/hal-01553655/document %2 https://hal.science/hal-01553655/file/Conf_Wagner_al_Development_Electrospun_composite_2017.pdf %L hal-01553655 %U https://hal.science/hal-01553655 %~ INSERM %~ CNRS %~ ENGEES %~ LMGC %~ UNIV-STRASBG %~ INSA-STRASBOURG %~ INC-CNRS %~ AGREENIUM %~ MIPS %~ UNIV-MONTPELLIER %~ SITE-ALSACE %~ INSA-GROUPE %~ UM-2015-2021 %~ TEST2-HALCNRS %~ LABORATOIRES-UHA %~ UHA %~ LPMT
