1 Dynamique des structures et identification

When a Duffing oscillator with one degree of freedom is submitted to an external harmonic force whose frequency is much higher than that of the oscillator, it is possible, under certain conditions, that the motion of the oscillator, once launched, is maintained at a stable energy level. This may occur when the force exerts its action only when the oscillator is close to its center position.

Lorsqu'un oscillateur à un degré de liberté de type Duffing est soumis à une force extérieure harmonique de fréquence très supérieure à celle de l'oscillateur, il peut arriver, dans certaines conditions, que le mouvement de l'oscillateur, une fois lancé, se maintienne à un niveau stable d'énergie. Ce phénomène peut se produire lorsque la force n'exerce son action que lorsque l'oscillateur est voisin de la position centrale.
