ON THE IMPACT ON A PLATE MADE OF HYPERELASTIC FOAM
Résumé
In the paper we present the results of the finite element modelling of an axisymmetric and non-axisymmetric impact on a circular thick plate made of hyperelastic foam. The nonlinear oscillations and the transient wave's propagation after impact are considered. The finite element analysis is performed using the ANSYS package. Large deformations are taking into account, i.e. the strains attain the level of 600%.
