SN démonstratifs "prédicatifs" : qu'est ce qui limite leur apport informatif

This paper attempts to clarifie two constraints which determine the use of the anaphoric demonstrative predicative SN. The first is due to the antecedent of the anaphoric one. If it is an indefinite SN, it provides informations about the referent which are limited to the stereotype associated with this N. Then any other kind of knowledge must be motivated by the context. The second constraint comes from the predicative character of the demonstrative fixed with the same coherence constraints as propositions.

Cet article tente de clarifier les contraintes qui détermine l'emploi des SN démonstratifs prédicatifs. La première tient à la catégorie du SN-source de l'anaphorique. La seconde provient de la prédication sous-jacente qui doit satisfaire des contraintes de cohérences avec le prédicat de sa proposition d'accueil.
