Distribution of Hcn in Titan's Upper Atmosphere from Cassini/Vims Observations At 3 Microns

► We present the first concentration retrieval of HCN by Cassini-VIMS limb observations of the Titan upper atmosphere in the altitude range 600-1100 km ► HCN is thought to play an important role in the chemistry and in determining the thermal structure of Titan's thermosphere ► A model for non-LTE HCN emission in Titan atmospheric condition has been developed for the purpose.
