Filosofía y metodología de las ciencias: vías de encuentro en la investigación social

It is very easy to appear the development along the arrow of the time of two disciplines in terms of contest, on the one hand the Philosophy of the Science and for other one the Methodology of the Science. What we propose to do is to pass along another much more arduous way: that of the possible joints between the theory and the practice in context. To depart from the context, it us means to anchor historically like also to locate us in the frame of traditions of investigation that not only have sought to solve concrete problems from the theory orientating to the practice, but also to answer questions of major depth linked with the own history of his couples. To think about an arrow of the time allows us a spatial and temporary relative and complex location, from the same origins of the principal traditions of investigation as cores of questions in search of response, up to the bifurcations that have been consolidated in the present. Logical positivism, Critical School, Interpretive Conceptions, Historicist Vision, Theories of the Complex Systems, Semantic Conceptions, and so many other less known versions agglutinated under such labels as " friends of the discovery ", or such derivations as Strong Program of the Sociology of the Knowledge or Studies in CT and S, have been traditions of investigations to which there have associated always some methodological specific correlato and a few shared ones. I refer to methods, to technologies or strategies of investigation, or to such contributions as mechanisms of operacionalización or construction of categories. Also I me am refiriendo to alternative and coexistent forms to uncover a problem and to guide a process. An offer to go out of the crossroads, and to place opposite to the challenges of the social current investigation, is to think about terms of interconnections and to start passing along the multiple looks
Es muy fácil plantearse el desarrollo a lo largo de la flecha del tiempo de dos disciplinas en términos de contienda, por un lado la Filosofía de la Ciencia y por otro la Metodología de la Ciencia. Lo que nos proponemos hacer es transitar por otro camino mucho más arduo: el de las articulaciones posibles entre la teoría y la práctica en contexto. Partir del contexto, significa anclarnos históricamente como también ubicarnos en el marco de tradiciones de investigación que no sólo han buscado resolver problemas concretos desde la teoría orientando a la práctica, sino también responder preguntas de mayor profundidad vinculadas con la propia historia de sus pares. Pensar en una flecha del tiempo nos permite una localización espacial y temporal relativa y compleja, desde los mismos orígenes de las principales tradiciones de investigación como núcleos de preguntas en busca de respuesta, hasta las bifurcaciones que se han consolidado en el presente. Positivismo Lógico, Escuela Crítica, Concepciones Interpretativas, Visión Historicista, Teorías de los Sistemas Complejos, Concepciones Semánticas, y tantas otras versiones menos conocidas aglutinadas bajo rótulos tales como "amigos del descubrimiento", o derivaciones tales como Programa Fuerte de la Sociología del Conocimiento o Estudios en CT & S, han sido tradiciones de investigaciones a las cuales se les han asociado siempre algún correlato metodológico específico y unos cuantos compartidos. Me refiero a métodos, a técnicas o estrategias de investigación, o a aportes tales como mecanismos de operacionalización o construcción de categorías. También me estoy refiriendo a formas alternativas y coexistentes para desentrañar un problema y guiar un proceso. Una propuesta para salir de la encrucijada, y situarnos frente a los desafíos de la investigación social actual, es pensar en términos de interconexiones y empezar a transitar por las miradas múltiples
