Comparative studies of artificial intelligence techniques in the context of cognitive radio

Cognitive radio (CR) is considered as the key enabling technology of Next Generation Wireless Systems (NGWS). In this context, CR enables users to dynamically access and to fairly share the spectrum with other users. Our paper describes some artificial intelligence techniques like artificial neural network, metahueristic algorithms and hidden Markov model, these techniques are proposed to provide the cognition capability in a cognitive engine.
