The grown structures were studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), low and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Sequential growth is proposed to explain the periodicity of the nanofibers. The nanofibers are broken by sonication into single elementary units open at one end. %G English %L hal-00656971 %U https://hal.science/hal-00656971 %~ CNRS %~ UNIV-MONTP2 %~ LCVN %~ UNIV-MONTPELLIER %~ UM1-UM2
