El impacto del cotexto en castellano lengua origen en la traducción al francés lengua meta: ¿herramienta didáctica o trampolín a la interferencia?

Appropriateness of translation in second language teaching has been extensively discussed since it has been considered as a task leading learners to interferences. This paper focuses on the effects of adding co-texts in source language to a task which aims at the translation of some phraseological units in French as a target language by a group of four Spanish natives in academic situation. The results suggest that co-texts insertion produces a decrease in the errors attributable to the source language in verbal morphology and in prepositional syntax related to space and time. They also suggest that the number of univocal correspondences is fewer at the end of the survey.
