We describe here theoretically the AOCT e ect, and we show that the Acousto Optic tagged photons remains coherent if they are generated within a speci c z region of the sample. We quantify the z selectivity for both the tagged photon eld, and for the M. Lesa re et al. photorefractive signal. %G English %2 https://hal.science/hal-00602181v2/document %2 https://hal.science/hal-00602181v2/file/theorie_max_22.pdf %L hal-00602181 %U https://hal.science/hal-00602181 %~ ENS-PARIS %~ UPMC %~ ESPCI %~ LKB %~ CNRS %~ ALLINSP %~ PARISTECH %~ IL %~ L2C %~ LANGEVIN %~ PSL %~ UPMC_POLE_2 %~ MIPS %~ UNIV-MONTPELLIER %~ SORBONNE-UNIVERSITE %~ SU-INF-2018 %~ SU-SCIENCES %~ UP-SCIENCES %~ ENS-PSL %~ ESPCI-PSL %~ SU-TI %~ ALLIANCE-SU %~ UM-2015-2021
