Résumé

MR diffusion and perfusion imaging are used to identify ischemic penumbra, but there are few comparisons with neuronal loss and ischaemia in vivo. We compared N-acetyl aspartate (NAA, found in intact neurons) and lactate (anaerobic metabolism) with diffusion/perfusion parameters.
