De l'antisémitisme au fascisme en Roumanie

The adaptation of the “new consensus” about fascism to Romanian Iron Guard has already given some brilliant results as far as political modelling is concerned. Time has come to investigate patiently the historical documents in order to evaluate the degree of consciousness of the contemporary people about the revolutionary project of the Romanian Fascism and about its practices which intended to replace traditional life in agrarian orthodox Romania by a new social life modelled in the legionary nests. As this new life is structured around the adoration of the charismatic personality of the “Captain” Corneliu Zelea Codreanu, his main text, "For my legionaries", will be largely solicited for the passages corresponding to the early period of formation lasting from 1919 to 1927. Special attention will be devoted to the elements of breaking off with his political godfather in anti-Semitism A.C. Cuza. Passage from traditional religious minded, but also socio-economic post-war anti-Semitism to the younger generation's political religion of national renewal between 1919 and 1927 is the main purpose of this paper.

L'adaptation du «nouveau consensus» historiographique sur le fascisme à la Garde de Fer roumaine a déjà donné des résultats brillants en termes de modélisation politique. Le temps est venu d'étudier patiemment les documents historiques afin d'évaluer le degré de conscience de la société contemporaine sur le projet révolutionnaire du fascisme roumain et sur ses pratiques, qui visent à remplacer la vie traditionnelle dans la Roumanie agraire et orthodoxe par une nouvelle vie sociale modelée dans les nids légionnaire. Comme cette nouvelle vie est structurée autour de l'adoration de la personnalité charismatique du «Capitaine» Codreanu Corneliu Zelea, son texte principal, "La Garde de Fer", sera largement sollicité. Une attention particulière sera consacrée aux éléments de rupture avec son parrain politique, l'antisémite A.C. Cuza. Le passage de l'antisémitisme traditionnel d'après-guerre à la religion politique de la jeune génération du renouveau national entre 1919 et 1927 est le but principal de cet article.
