Propagation of Monochromatic and Spherical Waves Through a Plane Interface Fluid/Fluid: Numerical and Experimental Results for the Air/Water Interface
Propagation d'ondes sphériques monochromatiques à travers une interface plane fluide/fluide: Applications numériques et expérimentales au dioptre plan air/eau
Résumé
The main concern is with the problem of the transmission of spherical waves through a plane interface separating two fluids. Under some conditions, this physical model is particularly interesting because of the existence of a "surface" or lateral contribution. Indeed this contribution appears for super-critical angles (condition of total reflection). However, when studied, as a transmission problem, one finds an additional contribution in the second medium.
