Isolation of Mycoplasma bovis from broiler chickens in Turkey

Mycoplasma bovis normally affects cattle where it causes calf pneumonia , mastitis, arthritis and other diseases. Here we report the detection of multiple strains of this bovine pathogen from the trachea of broiler chickens showing no clinical signs. The most likely source of the infection was the cattle herd sharing the farm with the poultry
