QUAND LE « PUBLIC » ET LE « PRIVE » SE RENCONTRENT DANS LA FRONTIERE: ANALYSE D'UNE EXPERIENCE DE DEVELOPPEMENT DANS L'AMAZONIE BRESILIENNE
Résumé
This paper analyses the results of an environmental regularization program promoted by a public-private partnership in the Brazilian region of Amazônia. This program is considered by local actors as a strategy to open the "second economic development cycle" of the municipality of Lucas do Rio Verde and it is projected in the direction of practices conformed to the international markets standards, mainly in which it concerns the incorporation of social and environmental norms in the agricultural commodities production.
