Résumé
TO CREATE THRIFTY AND OFFLINE PRODUCTIVE AREAS. THE SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE, A WAY OF FUTURE. CIVAM farmers (French Initiative Centers developing Agriculture and Rural Area) and RAD farmers (Sustainable Agriculture Network) chose for more than twenty years to turn towards offline mode and thrifty production systems. Their first intentions were to answer to the agro ecological and socio-economic stakes on their areas. These experiences led in France in the western grassy systems showed, farmers could produce better, with a better economic efficiency, using much less inputs and energies. This sustainable agriculture initiative was gradually spread in other production systems as the big cultures, low mountain Agriculture and in the Mediterranean area. The technical and social CIVAM innovations answer to all the farmers and the politicians in front of current stakes as socio-economic, climatic, energy, or environmental ones. Sustainable Agriculture advantages demonstration was gradually proved through the experiment, thanks to the know-how agronomy exchanges, diagnoses and tied links with the local institutions. The ethical commitment based on solidarity values, sharing, autonomy, and responsible initiatives allowed to structure and organize a technical animation of the local farmers groups, thanks to employ driving forces leaders financed by farming development projects. Agronomic and economic solutions are possible to reorient the production systems. They can be developed with a public support and a technical-economic aid to favor the transition of the production systems.
