LA RECHERCHE-INTERVENTION : QUELS USAGES EN CONTROLE DE GESTION ?

In a context whereas case study research seems being more and more popular in the field of management control, the problematic of the paper is focused on the user's perspectives of intervention-research in management control. In particular, the paper raises the following issues: What is the conceptual framework of intervention-research made of? How to position this methodology regarding grounded theory and action research? What are its epistemic principles? What is the contribution of such methodology to knowledge creation in management control? To answer those questions, the paper is based on an intervention-research program led within 15 firms from 1998 to 2005.

Dans un contexte d'émergence des méthodologies de recherche de terrain en contrôle de gestion, la problématique de l'article porte sur les usages de la recherche-intervention en contrôle de gestion. L'article aborde en particulier les questions suivantes : comment se positionne la recherche-intervention au regard d'autres recherches collaboratives telles que la grounded theory ou la recherche-action ? Quels sont ses principes épistémologiques ? Quels sont ses apports à la création de connaissances en contrôle de gestion ? Pour apporter des éléments de réponse, l'article s'appuie sur un programme de recherche-intervention en contrôle de gestion conduit auprès de 15 entreprises et organisations entre 1998 et 2005.
