Diverses observations sur des aménagements destinés à l'hivernage en plein air de génisses en élevage allaitant ont permis de dégager des informations utiles pour la protection de l'environnement par la quantification des déjections récupérables. En contrepartie, la tâche a été plus difficile en ce qui concerne d'une part la protection des animaux contre le vent et la pluie, et d'autre part la bonne tenue du sol à la périphérie de la zone aménagée. / Various observations on arrangements for open-air wintering of suckling heifers have highlighted useful information regarding the protection of the environment by quantifying the recoverable waste. However, the task was made more difficult by the need to protect the animals from wind and rain and to maintain ground firmness on the outskirts of the area involved.
