By means of a two-scale analysis, the medium can be homogenized, i.e. described by effective electromagnetic parameters. The effective permeability and permittivity were obtained from a set of partial differential equations. A numerical approach based on the Fourier Modal Method was devised in order to solve these equations. %G English %L hal-00385872 %U https://hal.science/hal-00385872 %~ UNIV-TLN %~ CNRS %~ UNIV-MONTP2 %~ GES %~ IMATH %~ TDS-MACS %~ UNIV-MONTPELLIER %~ ANR %~ UM1-UM2
