Mise en évidence et étude des propriétés de transport de nouvelles solutions solides oxyfluorées appartenant au système ternaire BiF3---BiOF---ThO2
Résumé
The influence of different optimization criteria for fast ionic conductivity of fluorite-type oxyfluorides has been investigated within a new solid solution Bi1−xThxO0.5+1.5xF2−2x (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.33). The influence of local ordering is clearly shown when cations have similar polarizabilities. These optimization factors are also discussed for a novel solid solution with tysonite-type structure Bi1−yThyO2yF3−3y (0.05 ≤ y ≤ 0.13). An anionic distribution hypothesis is proposed in agreement with the thermal variation of transport properties: the oxygen ions and vacancies introduced when y increases are located in the B anionic sublattice of the ThOF2-type structure. The performance of Bi0.95Th0.05O0.10F2.85 is close to that of the best fluorine fast ionic conductors previously studied with tysonite-type structure.
