Full Order LPV/Hinfinity observers for LPV time-delay systems

Résumé

This paper deals about the synthesis of parameter dependent observers for linear parameter varying time delay systems. These observers are computed to satisfy an Hinfinity performance attenuation from the disturbances to the state estimation error. First a stability test is proposed using the Lyapunov-Krasovskii approach and the Newton's formula. It is provided in terms of gridded parameter dependent LMIs. Second, this stability test is derived to obtain a su±cient condition to the existence of a (parameter dependent) observer. Our results are illustrated through an example which demonstrates the bene¯ts of this approach.
