Real-time video communication secured by a chaotic key stream cipher

Résumé

An improvement of the chaotic inverse system encryption approach is suggested by introducing piecewise linearities. The usual design procedure is adapted in order to achieve an Input Independent Global Synchronization. Experiment of the resulting chaotic key stream encryption setup is conducted on a real-time video transmission. The secrecy level is assessed through a linear cryptanalysis.
