Nanometer-sized divalent manganese-hydrous silicate domains in geothermal brine precipitates.
Alain Manceau 1, Darrell L. Gallup 2
(2005)

X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, and x-ray absorption (XANES and EXAFS) spectroscopy were combined to characterize poorly-crystalline Mn-rich silicate scale deposited from brine at a geothermal field in Indonesia.
