The temporal signal is transformed in a sequence of busy and idle periods, each busy period being characterized by its duration and its associated energy. Our problem is therefore associated to the study of Type II Counter Models. We present an new method to correct the pile-up phenomenon, based on an analytical formula. We develop heuristics on the choice of the parameters of the proposed algorithm. Applications on spectrometrical signals are presented, which show good adequation between what we wish to retrieve and the estimation. }, annote = {Mon papier a moi que j'ai, je n'en pense que du bien !}, } @BOOK{doetsch:1974, title = {Introduction to the {T}heory and the {A}pplication of the {L}aplace {T}ransform}, publisher = {Springer-Verlag}, year = {1974}, author = {Doetsch, G.}, } @ARTICLE{bingham:pitts:1999, author = {Bingham, N. For example, we might wish to know whether the service time is unimodal, suggesting the service time distribution is possibly homogeneous, or multimodal, indicating that there are two or more distinct customers populations. However, even in relatively controlled experiments, we may not have access to explicit time service data. Our only informations might be the durations of time service clusters, i.e. of busy periods. We wish to deconvolve these concatenations, and to construct empirical approximations to the distribution and, particularly, the pdf of service time. Explicit solutions of this problem will be suggested. In particular, a kernel-based deconvolution estimator of service time density will be introduced, admitting conventional approaches to the choice of bandwidth.}, annote = {Lu - tr{\`e}s bon article avec un moyen de virer les singularit{\'e}s de la formule de d{\'e}sempilement {\`a} temps continu.
